So, it's confirmed. BJP will release its poll manifesto on April 7, the first day of the Lok Sabha polls. This was announced by the party's spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman.

The BJP, which was expected to release its poll manifesto today, has delayed its decision due to last minute changes demanded by the Narendra Modi camp.

Media reports have said that Narendra Modi-led team is not completely satisfied with the final draft of the party's manifesto, which has been prepared by senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi.

The AAP, meanwhile, is set to release its manifesto today.
