April 03, 2014  19:55
NIA has told a court here that top arrested Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives Tehsin Akhtar and Zia-ur-Rehman alias Waqas were actively associated in the "planning" and "planting" of two IEDs which exploded at Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad last year, claiming 16 lives.

National Investigation Agency's Hyderabad unit, which had come to the court to seek its permission to arrest and take Tehsin and Waqas in its custody in connection with the case, said both the accused had "personally participated" in various blast cases in India, including the February 21, last year Dilsukhnagar blasts.
