Bomb misses convoy of former Pakistani military ruler

A roadside bomb exploded on the route taken by former Pakistani military ruler Pervez Musharraf early Thursday, but he was unhurt, his aides and police said.

The attack comes as the government considers the thorny political issue of whether to allow Musharraf, who is on trial on treason charges, to travel abroad.It was a relatively small bomb that didn't cause much damage, police said.
