Jagabandhu Godangi might end up being the poorest contestant in Odisha elections this time. At least by his own claims, he is. The movable assets column on his affidavit reads "nil', so does the immovable assets column.
Contesting from Chitrakonda Assembly segment, the 34-year-old Jagabandhu's possessions and that of his family members draw a zero. "I have nothing,' declares the candidate of Samrudha Odisha, a political party that made its debut in the polls in 2009. Read more
