UP IAS officer Durga Sakthi Nagpal meets Narayanasamy

Days after her suspension was revoked by Uttar Pradesh Government, IAS officer Durga Sakthi Nagpal, who had taken on sand mining mafia in Gautam Budh Nagar district, today met Minister of State for Personnel V Narayanasamy in New Delhi.
It was a courtesy call by Nagpal to the Minister, official sources said, adding the meeting was brief and nothing much should be read into it.
Nagpal, who had taken on sand mining mafia in Gautam Budh Nagar district where she was posted as sub-divisional magistrate, was suspended on July 27 ostensibly for ordering demolition of a wall of an under-construction mosque without following the due process.
