Muzaffarnagar riots: Villagers donate land for rehabilitation

In other news: Six villagers have donated agricultural land in Khampur village in the district for rehabilitation of Muzaffarnagar riot victims, a Panchayat member said today. More than 70 families, which got displaced from riot- affected Lank, Fugana, Kakda and Kutba villages, have refused to return to their villages due to fear. The communal clashes in Muzaffarnagar and adjoining areas claimed 62 lives and displaced over 40,000 people.
