Will RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's conviction have any impact on the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi, especially in East Delhi where 35 per cent of the population is from Bihar?

Congress leaders are worried as Lalu's conviction has come at a crucial juncture, just ahead of the polls in November.

The  buzz is that RJD leaders are likely to meet President  Pranab Mukherjee to inform him that they are formally withdrawing support to the UPA2. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is likely to come to Delhi  from Ranchi on Tuesday with the letter.
