LIVE! Cabinet to meet tomorrow to decide on 'nonsense' ordinance

Our sources in Delhi tell us that that the Cabinet meet on the convicted MPs/MLAs ordinance will be held at 6 pm tomorrow. Soon after the Cabinet meet, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will send the Cabinet resolution withdrawing the Ordinance on Convicted Legislators to President Pranab Mukherjee

The rush is primarily because Pranab Mukherjee is leave for Belgium on Wednesday. Also, the PMO does not want any embarrassing issues to arise for the Congress in the event the President refuses to sign the ordinance during his foreign state visits.
