Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be in Trichy on Thursday in what is perceived as a shout-out to to Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha to join hands and overthrow UPA2 at the Centre.

Modi's team has been working overtime to make sure he is a hit in Chennai. What remains to be seen is whether Modi will hit out at P Chidambram for his comment -- fake encounter with facts? If he does, it will certainly please the ADMK and Jaya.

Modi has also been going over his three-minute speech in Tamil making sure the pronunciation passes muster. The speech will be telecast live in 85 Tamil TV networks registered in 18 districts of the state.
