Modi's magic won't work in Assam: Gogoi

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said "the magic" of Narendra Modi will not work here as people believe in secularism only. "Their political philosophy is based on religion.

On the other hand, Assam is a land of saints like Sankardeva, Madhabdeva and Ajan Fakir, who preached real secularism and people have been practising this irrespective of caste, creed and religion for years," Gogoi said.
