The defence ministry reacts to the Indian Express report on former army chief VK Singh. "Have received a report from the Army on certain issues relating to one of its sectors," says the MoD.

The defence ministry says the report impinges on matters of internal security. "The government will take a decision after careful consideration and evaluation of the matter. The government has measures in place to prevent undesirable activities," says a statement from the MoD.
