BJP to distance itself from VK Singh
September 20, 2013  18:07
Senior leaders of the BJP have decided to distance themselves from former Army chief General VK Singh as they feel the credibility of the party may get affected.

An Indian Express report today claimed VK Singh had set up a special unit in the army which tried to topple the Jammu and Kashmir Government.

Singh today said that he would react to the report after discussions with his legal team.

The BJP has claimed that Singh is being targeted by the UPA Government for sharing the dais with BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at a recent rally in Rewari, Haryana.
