Hospital woes delaying CCS meeting

A Correspondent in New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Security has not met since the first week of August, and several Union ministers have given many interpretations on it.

But the valid one was from a Member of CCS -- who claimed that he did not get admitted to hospital for surgery. Reason? Both Defence Minister A K Antony and Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde were admitted to hospitals for surgeries.

Eight key items are prepared by Cabinet Secretariat for the CCS agenda -- but the PMO is yet to indicate the date for convening of CCS.
