Won't rest till the four are hanged: Victim's parents

The young woman's parents say while they are happy with the death sentence being handed out to the four convicts, they will not rest till the death penalty is actually granted. Which means, they will fight the case till the four men are actually hanged, since the defence lawyers will now approach the higher courts and when that fails, will seek a presidential pardon.

In court, the Judge Yogesh Khanna said, "We need to send a message that such crimes will not be tolerated. Gruesome crimes agaisnt women have become rampant. This crime in every way falls in rarest of rare category, warranting the death sentence."
