Live! Delhi gang rape: ALL four convicts get DEATH sentence

The Saket fast-track court in Delhi has given the death penalty to all four convicts in the December 16 gang rape and murder case. The court pronounced the much-awaited order on the basis that the offence falls in the "rarest of rare" category warranting the death sentence.

The victim's family has demanded nothing less than capital punishment for the four convicts Mukesh Singh, 26, Akshay Thakur, 28, Pawan Gupta, 19 and Vinay Sharma, 20.

Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Khanna had held them guilty of gang rape and "cold blooded" murder of a "defenceless" 23-year-old girl in a premeditated manner, on Tuesday.
