The formal announcement of Narendra Modi's candidature for the PM's post is expected at 5 pm. This, while LK Advani is still being convinced to come on board to attend the Parliamentary Board meeting this evening and give his blessings to the Gujarat CM. So far, Advani has steadfastly refused to attend the meeting, despite Sushma Swaraj and Nitin Gadkari trying to convince him.
