BJP Parl Board meeting to begin shortly, senior leaders at HQ

The BJP Parliamentary Board meeting is set to begin at 5.30 pm. Senior leaders of the party have already arrived at the headquarters in Delhi. Whether or not LK Advani attends the meeting, Narendra Modi will be crowned the BJP's prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

Conspicuous by his absence will be Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan who chose to stay away, despite Rajnath Singh requesting him to attend.
