British deputy speaker re-arrested over sex abuse laims

A deputy speaker in Britain's lower house of Parliament was re-arrested today on suspicion of indecent assault and sexually touching two alleged victims, police said.

Nigel Evans, 55, was previously arrested in May on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.

Evans, a lawmaker in Prime Minister David Cameron's Conservative Party, was re-arrested in June over further three counts of indecent assault, some dating back to 2002.
