Sufficient proof to 'punish' Syrian regime: France

France today said there was sufficient proof on use of chemical weapons by Syrian regime against its population for which it has "to be punished one way or the other".

"Our stand is very clear. We consider that what has happened in Syria is a crime. The people responsible for this crime is the Syrian regime and they have to be punished one or another," French Ambassador to India Francois Richer told PTI on the sidelines of an event today.
