BSP's regime better than SP, says Digvijaya

Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh today hit out at the Akhilesh Yadav government in the wake of the communal violence in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district, in which at least 12 people were killed.

"The SP government's track-record in this tenure is bad. Haven't been able to control communal forces in Uttar Pradesh, even BSP's was better," Singh wrote on micro blogging website Twitter.

The Congress leader also attacked the BJP, saying non-BJP ruled states need to be "more careful" in the wake of communalviolence.
