Live! Escaped serial rapist, murderer caught near Bangalore jail

36-year-old Jaishankar, involved in several criminal cases including rape, murder and kidnapping, has been arrested from the Hosur highway near Bangalore Central Jail.

Jaishankar, who earned the nickname of Psycho Shankar, for his maniacal ways, had escaped from jail on September 2.

He had trapped sex workers near dhabhas on highways, and killed many of them brutally, after having sex with them. Besides, he targeted women in farm houses. He kept a machete in his bag and killed whoever resisted him.
