A 25-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father and younger brother for over nine years with the tacit consent of her mother in the Krishna Nagar locality in Lucknow, police said.

The stunning allegation was made straight to none other than Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav by the victim at his "Janta Darshan" programme yesterday.

The girl, a beautician, was thereafter sent to a women's police station where a report was registered and the father (about 57 years old) and brother (23) subsequently arrested, police said. The mother of the victim was also arrested under Section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC for giving her tacit consent to the alleged crime, they said.
