Ten graduates interning at a multi-national company in Nasik in Maharashtra have been arrested after a young girl working as a trainee with them died in hospital today. 

Two nights ago, 19-year-old Pranali Rahane slit her wrist and tried to hang herself in her bedroom; she was rescued by her parents who rushed her to hospital. However, she died of her injuries today.

The police said the 10 graduates she named in her note were arrested today under anti-ragging laws. Rahane started training with the multi-national two years ago.
