Ashes to ashes: BJP begins yatra with Patna blast victims' remains
October 31, 2013  15:20
In a bid to mobilise support after the serial blasts, the BJP in Bihar began what it calls the 'shahid asthi-kalash yatra', wherein the ashes of the six blast victims from six different villages would be taken to different parts of the state before being immersed in the Ganga in Patna.

This comes two days ahead of BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's visit to Patna on November 2 to meet the kin of the victims. The state BJP declared the victims as martyrs on Monday. -- MI Khan in Patna.
