The National Investigavitve Agency is seeking the custody of Yasin Bhatkal for his involvement in the Bihar serial blasts. The NIA believes the Indian Mujahideen headed by Bhatkal is responsible for the serial blasts. Bhatkal has been produced in the Patiala court.

The National Investigation Agency, meanwhile, has taken over the blasts probe. The Bihar police also believe that the serial blasts were the handiwork of the Indian Mujahideen.

We are trying to find out if there are any similarities with the Bodh Gaya blasts. The Patna blasts do seem to bear the signature of the Indian Mujahideen, but it is too early to tell, said a NIA official.
