TMC MP may defect to Congress

A disgruntled Trinamool Congress MP, Somen Mitra, is likely to defect to the Congress soon. He may bring in at least four dissidents with him, a TMC source tells Rediff.com. A senior Congress leader, who did not want to be named, also confirmed this development. Mitra, it is heard, is busy parleying with the Congress leadership and could not be reached for comments.
