Modi who is addressing the rally in Jhansi, refers to Rani Laxmibai, saying, "If there is a lotus then Lakshmi will follow and if Lakshmi comes then roti will come too. This is the revolution we should bring about.

"The 1857 struggle was symbolised by the roti and the lotus, once again on this land of Lakshmibai we have come with the Lotus. From this land a slogan was given. With her baby tied to her back, Lakshmibai said "Meri Jhansi nahi doongi," says Modi.

"Don't make a PM, make me a watchman (chowkidar). I won't let India's treasury be looted by grabbing hands (referring to the Congress symbol). Give us just 60 months to change your destiny," says Modi.
