Narendra Modi's mega rally in Jhansi begins. On the dais are BJP biggies Uma Bharti, Rajnath Singh. According to a report, the main opposition party, is expecting around two lakh people to attend the Jhansi rally.

In an order to bring more crowd in Jhansi, the party is reportedly ferrying people from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh and the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, where assembly elections will held on November 25. Vijendra Singh Sisodia, the BJP spokesperson from Madhya Pradesh, said that Modi's message in Jhansi will have a bearing on assembly elections in MP.

Modi says he is not in Bundelkhand to weep, a reference made to Rahul Gandhi's speeches where he invoked the killings of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and the possibility of his own assassination. "Main yahan rone-dhone ke liye nahin aaya hoon. Main aason ponchhe ne ke liye aaya hoon. I have come here to wipe your tears," says Modi.
