Live! Former Rajasthan minister Babulal Nagar arrested for rape

Former Rajasthan minister Babulal Nagar was arrested today in a sexual assault case.

The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in its report reportedly confirmed that the ex-minister's DNA extracted from his blood matches that of the semen taken off the clothes worn by the woman who has accused him of rape.

Nagar's DNA taken off the rape victim's clothes have allegedly found a match with the DNA swab of his blood sample, sources said.

The CBI is now looking for CCTV footage of the woman to ensure she was wearing the same saree the day she was allegedly raped by Nagar at official residence.
