Prime Minister Manmohan Singh while interacting with the media on his return flight from China said in a response to rediff.com's question said, "I am sure when the results of 2014 are out, the country will once again be surprised."

In response to another question he said, "I know BJP has started its campaign early but it will also peak early. Slow and steady is the way both in public life and in politics. I am confident that Congress will emerge victorious in the next election.'
