Coal-gate: CBI to file status report in SC, to be silent on PM

The Central Bureau of Investigation will file its status report on the coal block allocation in the Supreme Court today. According to CNN-IBN, the CBI will stand by its FIR against industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla and former coal secretary P C Parakh.

The status report however is silent on whether Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be questioned or not.
