Environmentalist Sunita Narain stable after hit-and-run horror

Environmentalist and director of Centre for Science and Environment Sunita Narain, who was severely injured in a hit-and-run when she was riding a bicycle, is stable after she underwent surgery.

According to the police, she was going to Delhi's Lodhi Park from her house in Green Park when an unidentified vehicle hit her near AIIMS flyover. The incident took place at 6.15 am on Sunday and she was rushed to the AIIMS trauma centre.
