Environmentalist Sunita Narain severely injured in hit-and-run

Environmentalist and director of Centre for Science and Environment Sunita Narain was injured severely in a hit-and-run when she was riding a bicycle.

According to the police, she was going to Delhi's Lodhi Park from her house in Green Park when an unidentified vehicle hit her near AIIMS flyover. The incident took place at 6.15am on Sunday and she was rushed to the AIIMS trauma centre.
