VHP meet today to discuss UP government's crackdown on Yatra

A two-day meeting of the governing body of VHP saints will begin in New Delhi on Saturday to discuss their response in the wake of Uttar Pradesh government banning two of its programmes in the state since August as well as construction of the Ram temple at Ayodhya.

"The steps taken by the UP government will come up for discussion during the meeting," said a Vishwa Hindu Parishad official said.

The Akhilesh Yadav government had banned VHP's "Sankalp Sabha" scheduled for Friday at Ayodhya.
