October 18, 2013  14:37
The legal wing of the Central Bureau of Investigation is abuzz with activity in the wake of new developments in the coal scam.

A note is ready to seek clarifications on coal block allocations from two chiefs of constitutional authorities, reports our New Delhi correspondent.

The CBI has since found that two officials, including former coal secretary P C Parakh, played a crucial role in the allocation of coal blocks.

Will the department of personnel permit the CBI to summon these two constitutional authorities?

The inside joke is that the South Block will become the 'Coal Block' if this is done.
