NCP chief Sharad Pawar will be elected unopposed as the president of the powerful Mumbai Cricket Association, current MCA President Ravi Sawant informed media personnel on Thursday.

Earlier, the application of BJP leader Gopinath Munde, who was a contender for the post, had been rejected on the ground that he was not a resident of Mumbai.
