Goa Lokayukta resigns citing personal reasons

Goa Lokayukta Justice B Sudarshan Reddy has quit from his post citing personal reasons, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said today.

Parrikar told reporters that Reddy's resignation has been accepted.

His appointment had earlier been challenged in the high court by social activist Aires Rodrigues, but the plea was dismissed.
