4.4 lakh people evacuated from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh

Shashidhar Reddy, vice-chairman of the NDMA said, "The wind speed of Cyclone Phailin continues to be over 220 kmph. 4.4 lakh people have been evacuated from Odisha and Andhra Pradesh so far."

23 disaster relief team have been deployed in Odisha and five more are on stand by.
