Meet State Bank of India's first woman boss

Arundhati Bhattacharya this week became the first woman to head State Bank of India, the country's largest bank by assets.

Bhattacharya has worked for the bank since 1977. Prior to taking over as chairperson on Monday she was State Bank of India's chief financial officer.

The 57-year-old succeeded Pratip Chaudhuri, who retired in September.
