No change in US policy on Iran-Pak gas pipeline

America's stand on the multibillion Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline has not changed despite the recent relaxation of sanctions on the Islamic republic after an agreement between Tehran and P5+1 countries.

"(Our position) Has not changed," State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said. The US has maintained that construction of the pipeline would attract sanctions from America and its international partners.
