Live! Tejpal: Girl continued to party after 'light-hearted bantering'

Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal, accused of raping a young journalist, has in a plea seeking anticipatory bail described the alleged incident as 'light-hearted bantering" and said the journalist "continued to party" afterwards.

"The said encounter (on November 7) was only light-hearted bantering which led to a moment of privacy between two individuals," Tejpal says in the petition which will be heard by the Delhi High Court today.

"The alleged colleague continued to party and was completely normal and friendly all throughout her stay in Goa," he says of the journalist who accused him of sexually assaulting her twice inside the lift of the hotel where the magazine had organized an event earlier this month.
