Aarushi murder case: Punishment correct, says Advocate Abha Singh

Social activist and advocate Abha Singh on Tuesday described the punishment given to the Talwar couple, for the murder of their teen daughter Aarushi and servant Hemraaj, as correct.

"The punishment given to them is correct. They were charged under Section 302 (IPC), according to which, the punishment given is either life imprisonment or death sentence. Though the CBI claimed the case to be 'rarest of the rare' but it is not, as they were not able to prove the motive behind the killings,' she said
