Vicky Nanjappa reports: Bihar police have made two more arrests in connection with the hawala case, which also involves a woman who was in touch with a Pakistani agent.

Police, working on a tip-off, rounded up two men for their alleged role in the Rs 5 crore hawala scam.

One of those who has been picked up is Mohammad Naufal, a student of business management in Mangalore, who allegedly had an account through which Ayesha Bano transacted hawala money.

Details about the second arrested accused are not clear as yet. The police is questioning both of them at the Pandeshwar police station in Mangalore.

They will be taken to Bihar for further investigation.

Ayesha Bano, allegedly while acting on the instructions of a Pakistani agent, transacted Rs 5 crore through 35 different accounts.

Initially, police suspected that the money was used for Patna blasts, but later ruled out that possibility.
