6-year-old girl raped in Ballia

A six year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Naduahaldipur village under Ubhaon police station area in Ballia, police said on Saturday. The incident took place on Friday when accused Avdesh, a labourer, lured the victim to an old building and allegedly raped her there, they said.

A villager, who heard the cries of the girl, handed over the accused to the police, they said.
