7 injured after public bus runs over pedestrians in Secunderabad

A Road Transport Corporation bus in Secunderabad has
reportedly run over pedestrians, injuring seven people. The accident
happened near the Secunderabad railway station in China Bazaar in
southern part of the city at about 1 pm, reports NDTV.
Five of the seven injured were pedestrians while the other two were on a scooter. All the injured have been rushed to a hospital.
The driver of the bus has reportedly told the police that the brakes of the bus failed.
