TN assembly to adopt resolution against CHOGM

The Tamil Nadu assembly will convene a three-hour emergency session to adopt a resolution against the Government of India for its presence at the CHOGM summit being held in Colombo.

Indications are that the resolution will have eight paragraphs hitting out at the Centre. It will urge the people of Tamil Nadu to stand united against the alleged genocide perpetuated by Sri Lankan president M Rajapaksa.
