LIVE! 2002 Naroda Patia massacre convict Maya Kodnani gets bail, has TB

Former minister Gujarat Maya Kodnani has been granted bail on medical grounds. Kodnani had moved the Gujarat high court for six months' bail as she has been diagnosed as suffering from intestinal tuberculosis and heart ailment.

Kodnani was given a 28-year jail term for her involvement in the Naroda Patia massacre of 2002 and is believed to be suffering from severe depression.
