JCB machines eyeball Campa Cola residents

Rediff.com's Abhishek Mande reporting from the Campa Cola compound says that BMC officials, who have been stopped from entering one of the gates, will now try the other gate.

There was a point where it seemed like the bulldozer would break down one of the gates even as the residents stood firmly behind them, but the drama that lasted only a minute or two, and the JCB turned off its engines.

Now the officials are trying to negotiate with the residents to let them in.
Some women can be seen at the gates.
