Actress Shweta Menon withdraws complaint against Kerala Cong MP

Malayalam actress Shweta Menon has withdrawn her molestation complaint against Congress MP Peethambara Kurup after he apologised to her. The actress insists that she was not pressured by anyone to do so. "There is no pressure whatsoever behind this move.

In the wake of Mr Peethambara Kurup's repeated public and personal apologies about the incidnt at the Presiden't boat race at Kulam, I'm withdrawing all legal and other actions against him," Menon said. But a police case has been filed based on a complaint by Opposition members.
