Mumbai police leave CSK CEO's residence empty handed

The Mumbai police are at CSK CEO Gurunath Meiyappan's residence in Chennai. Meiyappan is BCCI chief N Srinivasan's son-in-law. The police were made to wait outside and then were allowed inside the house by servants. They were told Meiyappan was not at home and is likely to return to Chennai either this evening or tomorrow. The police have pasted a copy of the summons at the residence. Difficult to believe that the Mumbai cops did not check ahead of arrival whether Meiyappan would be home.
